Te Conozco Mosco

Each piece in this collection aims to document and embrace what makes up our mixed Mexican American experience. Highlighting the common phrases many of us grew up hearing, and internalizing from our abuelita’s (grandmother), tias (aunts) and elders. The mandiles function almost as a portrait of a person. One that holds a similar experience, and shared memory that hits close to home. I hope through this collection I can continue to explore the vastness of what Latinx identity looks like and embrace all of its evolutions.
